- Air port pickup / Drop: Airport Charges Airport including parking & pager fees: Rs. 600 for Bus, Rs. 550 for Cars). The mileages and time calculation will be on a garage to garage basis in Colombo.

Udawalawe National Park
Udawalawe National Park is bordered by the Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces in Sri Lanka. The distance from Colombo is about 165km and the journey time is around 4 hours. Udawalawe is famous for its large reservoir, which covers around 30,821 hectares of land area. Udawalawe is one of the most visited national parks in Sri Lanka and is highly famous of the wild elephants and bird life.
Fauna
Apart from the large number of elephants, you could also see animals such as the sambur ( Cervus unicolor ), Spotted deer ( Axis axis ceylonensis ) , Barking deer ( Muntiacus muntjak), wild boar ( sus scrota ) , Water buffalo( Bubalus bubalis ), Toque-macaque ( Macaca sinia ), Common langur ( Semnopithecus priam thersite ),Jakal ( Canis aureus ) , Saloth bear ( Melutsus ursinus ) , Toddy cat( Paradixurus hermaphroditus ) , Leapard ( Panthera parades kotiya ), Black-napedhare ( Lepus Nigricollis ) , Small Indian civet(Viverricula indica ) , Soff-furred field rat( Millardia meltata ), Osprey ( Pandion haliaetus ) , Indian bush rat ( Golunda elliotti ), three species of Mangoos( Herpestes fascus , Herpestes uitticllis ) Notable endemic species living in the park are Sri Lanka spurfowl ( Galloperdix bicalcarata ), Sri Lanka Jungle fowl ( Gallus lafayettii ), Malabar pied hornbill (Anthracoceros coyonatus ) and Sri Lanka grey hornbill( Ocyceros gingaleniss ).
Flora
You can see Hopea cordifolia, Memecylon petiolatum, Erythroxylon zeylanicum and jasminum angustifolium ,which are endemic floral species from the park. The main food sources for elephants are Panicum maximum and Imperata cylindrica. Chloroxylon swietenia, Berrya cordifolia,Diospyros ebenum,Adina cordifolia,Vitexpinnata,Schleichera oleosa and Diospyros ovalifolia are the common taller trees. Terminalia bellirica and Phyllantus emblica are plants that have medicinal value. Cymbopogon confertiflorus grass species and Grewia tiliifolia bushes are very common in the park too.
